All-on-4 Dental Implants in San Marcos, TX — New Teeth in a Day at myDental San Marcos
Missing most of your teeth? All-on-4 replaces a whole row of teeth with one fixed bridge.
Fixed All-on-4 teeth from $14,900 per arch
When Failing Teeth or a Loose Denture Run Your Day
Many of the people who ask us about full-arch implants have been patching things up for a long time: another filling, another crown, another tube of denture adhesive. At some point the repairs stop working, and everyday life starts to bend around your teeth.
If that sounds like you, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Gum disease, old dental work, and years of wear catch up with a lot of people. Our San Marcos team will look at where you are today, explain every option in plain words, and let you decide what comes next.

What Are All-on-4 Dental Implants?
All-on-4 is a way to replace a full arch of teeth (all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw) on just four dental implants. Two implants go in upright near the front of the jaw. The two at the back are set at an angle, which lets them use more of the bone you already have. Together they hold one fixed bridge of teeth that stays in your mouth: you brush it like natural teeth, and only your dental team takes it off for cleaning and checkups.
All-on-X is the umbrella name for the same idea: an arch held by four or more implants, for example All-on-6. Some jaws do best with four implants, others with five or six. Your 3D CT scan shows how much bone you have and where, so the plan fits your mouth rather than a formula. Many people call the result full mouth dental implants when both arches are treated.

Temporary fixed teeth go in the same day as your implants
Implants give the jawbone work to do where teeth are missing

All-on-4, Snap-In Dentures or Regular Dentures?
There is more than one good way to replace a full arch of teeth. The right choice depends on your bone, your budget, and how much you want your new teeth to feel like your own. These are the four options we compare with San Marcos patients most often.

All-on-4 Fixed Teeth
Four implants hold a fixed bridge for the whole arch. It stays in, you chew with confidence, and the roof of your mouth stays uncovered.

All-on-6
The same fixed bridge on five or six implants. Extra implants can spread the bite when the bone allows it or when the jaw needs more support.

Snap-In Implant Dentures
A removable denture that clips onto a few implants. Much steadier than a regular denture, and you take it out each night to clean it.

Regular Dentures
A full denture that rests on the gums with no implants. The lowest starting cost, but it can move, and the bone underneath keeps shrinking.

Not sure which fits you? Your consultation and 3D CT scan will show what your bone allows.
Schedule a ConsultationMissing only one tooth or a short row? A single implant or an implant bridge is usually the better fit. Our San Marcos dental implants page explains those options.
Where Are You Starting From?
San Marcos patients usually reach this page from one of two places: years of wearing a denture, or teeth that are close to giving out. Both paths begin with the same visit: a consultation with a 3D CT scan.
Already Wearing Dentures?
Dentures that slide when you speak or chew, daily adhesive, sore gums and cutting food into small pieces are why many people start asking about implants. Moving from a denture to fixed teeth is common. Your first visit checks the bone and gums on your CT scan to see what your jaw can support.
Facing the Loss of Your Remaining Teeth?
If you still have some teeth but they are failing, you can choose your next step with fresh eyes. Instead of a denture first, you can go straight to fixed teeth: when the bone allows, extractions and implants happen in the same visit, and you leave with temporary fixed teeth on surgery day.
Your All-on-4 Journey at myDental San Marcos
Full-arch treatment is a big step, so we break it into clear stages. Your treatment plan explains each step and where it happens, and you always know what comes next.
Exam and 3D CT Scan
Your first visit is a consultation with a 3D CT scan; the offer box above shows how to book it. Your care team checks your teeth, gums, and bone, listens to what bothers you most, and talks through your goals. You leave with a written treatment plan.
Plan, Price, and Payment
We go over the plan with you: how many implants, one arch or both, which teeth come out, and your choice of tooth material. You get your exact written price and your payment options before anything is scheduled.
Surgery Day: Implants and Temporary Teeth
Any remaining failing teeth are removed, the implants are placed while you are comfortable under sedation, and your temporary fixed teeth are attached the same day. You do not go home without teeth.
Healing and Checkups
You leave with temporary fixed teeth on surgery day. Most patients get their final teeth about 3 to 6 months later, once the implants have fused with the bone. Your timeline depends on your bone, healing and whether grafting is needed. Plan on a soft diet for the first weeks, and we see you for checkups along the way.
Your Final Teeth
Once the implants are solid, your final bridge is made and fitted to your bite, shape, and shade. After that, daily brushing, cleaning under the bridge, and regular checkups keep it in good shape.
Caring for Your New Teeth
Your new teeth are cleaned in place, much like natural teeth. Our San Marcos team shows you how before you go home:
Comfort and Sedation Options
Many people put off full-arch care because they are nervous. Sedation options are offered, and your team explains which one is right for you based on your health and how anxious you feel.

What Does All-on-4 Cost in San Marcos?
Fixed All-on-4 teeth start from $14,900 per arch, and premium zirconia teeth start from $19,900 per arch. One arch means one jaw, upper or lower, so a full mouth means two arches. The price covers the consultation and CT scan, extractions, the implants, your same-day temporary teeth, and your final teeth. Sedation is available and quoted separately.
A regular denture costs less at the start, though adhesive, relines and replacements add up over the years. Fixed teeth are an up-front investment in a long-term result.
Your own price depends on a few things, and you get it in writing after your consultation and CT scan, before treatment starts:
Implants per Arch
Four implants, or five to six when your jaw needs more support.
One Arch or Both
Many people start with the arch that bothers them most. Each arch is priced on its own.
Extractions Included
Any teeth that still need to come out on surgery day are covered by the arch price.
Bone Grafting
Only if your CT scan shows the bone needs to be built up first.
Sedation
The type of sedation you choose, quoted on its own.
Tooth Material
Standard fixed teeth or premium zirconia for the final bridge.
Payment plans and flexible financing can spread the cost; see payment options below.

All-on-4 Questions From San Marcos Patients
Don’t see your question? Call our San Marcos office — we’re happy to help, in English or Spanish.
At myDental San Marcos, fixed All-on-4 teeth start from $14,900 per arch, and premium zirconia teeth start from $19,900 per arch. An arch is one jaw, so treating both jaws means two arches. The price includes the consultation and CT scan, extractions, implants, same-day temporary teeth, and final teeth; sedation is quoted separately. Your exact written price comes after your exam, and payment plans are available.
Yes. Mention the offer when you book online or call us. Your consultation includes a 3D CT scan, and your team will review your current records with you.
It is surgery, so expect some swelling and soreness at first, and a soft diet for the first weeks. It costs more up front than a regular denture. Cleaning under a fixed bridge takes a little practice, and you need regular checkups so the implants and gums stay healthy. Smoking and uncontrolled diabetes can slow healing. We talk through all of this at your exam so nothing catches you off guard.
Often, yes. The two back implants in All-on-4 are angled so they can use the stronger bone toward the front of the jaw, which can avoid a bone graft. Your 3D CT scan shows exactly how much bone you have. If grafting is still needed, it becomes part of your written plan.
You get temporary fixed teeth on the day of surgery, so you walk out with a full smile instead of a gap. These teeth are made for the healing phase. Most patients get their final teeth about 3 to 6 months later, once the implants have fused with the bone; your timeline depends on your bone, healing and whether grafting is needed.
The area is fully numbed, and sedation options are offered, so many patients feel little discomfort during surgery. Soreness and swelling afterward are normal for the first days and are managed with the medication plan your team gives you.
All-on-4 is designed as a long-term solution. How long it lasts depends mostly on care: brushing, cleaning under the bridge, not smoking, and keeping your checkups. Like natural teeth, the bridge takes daily wear and may need repairs or a replacement over time; the implants themselves are meant to stay in place.
Both hold a fixed full-arch bridge. All-on-4 uses four implants; All-on-6 uses six, and All-on-X is the name for any arch held by four or more. More implants can spread the bite when your bone allows it. Your CT scan, not a sales pitch, decides which one makes sense for you.
Snap-in dentures clip onto a few implants and come out for cleaning; they are steadier than regular dentures and usually cost less than fixed teeth. All-on-4 teeth stay in and feel closer to natural teeth. If you already wear a denture, we can show you both side by side at your exam.
Ask about our payment plans and flexible financing, which spread the cost over time. You can also treat one arch first and the other later. If fixed teeth are not the right fit for your budget today, a snap-in implant denture is another option we can price for you.
