All-on-4 Dental Implants — New Teeth in a Day
All-on-4 dental implants replace a whole arch with one fixed bridge on four implants. At myDental in Austin and Central Texas, you leave with temporary fixed teeth on surgery day. Fixed All-on-4 teeth start from $14,900 per arch, and premium zirconia teeth from $19,900 per arch.
What Are All-on-4 Dental Implants?
All-on-4 is a way to replace every tooth in one jaw at once. Four dental implants are placed in the jawbone: two near the front and two further back, where they are tilted so they can use the stronger bone at the front of the jaw. A single fixed bridge of new teeth is then attached to all four. The bridge is screwed in place, so it does not slip, and you do not take it out at night the way you would a denture.
You may also hear the name All-on-X. It is the umbrella term for the same idea with four or more implants per arch, for example All-on-6, when your bone and bite call for extra support. And when both the upper and lower teeth are replaced this way, people often call it full mouth dental implants or full arch dental implants. One arch means one jaw, so a full mouth is two arches.

Small titanium posts act as new roots. Four is often enough to hold a whole arch of teeth.
Tilting the back implants lets them reach solid bone, which often avoids a bone graft.
Your new teeth are one piece, fixed to the implants. Only your dental team removes it.
A 3D scan shows your bone, nerves and sinuses, so every implant is planned before surgery.
All-on-4, Snap-In Dentures or Regular Dentures?
If you are losing most of your teeth, or a denture no longer works for you, there are four common ways to replace a whole arch. Each one suits a different mouth, budget and daily routine. Here is an honest look at all four, so you can come to your consultation knowing what to ask.

All-on-4
Four implants hold one fixed bridge. The teeth stay in all the time and you clean them like natural teeth, with a water flosser or special floss under the bridge. It costs more than a denture, but it feels the closest to having your own teeth again.

All-on-6
The same fixed bridge on five or six implants instead of four. Extra implants spread the chewing load, which can help in the upper jaw, with a heavy bite or with softer bone. Your CT scan shows whether four implants are enough or more are wiser.

Snap-In Implant Dentures
A removable denture clicks onto two to four implants. It is much steadier than a regular denture and usually costs less than a fixed bridge, but you take it out to clean it and at night, and the clips wear and need replacing over time.

Regular Dentures
A full removable denture rests on your gums with no implants. It has the lowest cost up front and needs no surgery. The tradeoff: it can move when you eat or talk, and the jawbone keeps shrinking without roots, so dentures need relining or remaking. See our dentures page.

Not sure which fits you? Your consultation and 3D CT scan will show what your bone allows.
Schedule a ConsultationFixed teeth on implants are sometimes called permanent dentures or fixed dentures, but they are not removable like a denture. If you are replacing only a few teeth rather than a whole arch, single implants or an implant bridge may fit better; see all dental implant options.
Where Are You Starting From?
People come to All-on-4 from two places: years of wearing dentures, or teeth that are failing now. The questions are a little different for each, but the first visit is the same for both: a consultation with a 3D CT scan, and an honest conversation about what it shows.
Already Wearing Dentures?
The reasons people give for switching are remarkably alike: a lower denture that slips while talking or eating, adhesive every morning, sore spots that keep coming back, and a list of foods quietly given up. An upper denture also covers the roof of the mouth, which changes how food tastes.
Many denture wearers can move to fixed teeth on implants. At your first visit your dentist checks your gums and bone, and the 3D CT scan shows how much bone you have, where implants could go and whether a graft would help.
Facing the Loss of Your Remaining Teeth?
If your remaining teeth are loose, broken or keep getting infected, you may be choosing a full-arch option for the first time. Many people assume a regular denture has to come first. It does not.
When your bone allows, the failing teeth are removed and the implants placed in the same visit, and you leave with temporary fixed teeth on surgery day. Your CT scan and written plan show whether this path fits you, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
Who Is a Good Candidate for All-on-4?
Most adults who have lost, or are about to lose, most of the teeth in one jaw can be considered for All-on-4. You may be a good fit if:
Not enough bone? That is one of the most common worries. Because the back implants are angled, All-on-4 often works without a bone graft, even after years of wearing a denture. Your 3D CT scan answers the question for your mouth. Health conditions such as diabetes, and habits such as smoking, affect healing; your dentist reviews them with you at the exam.

Your All-on-4 Journey at myDental
Full-arch treatment is a big decision, so we explain each step before anything begins. Here is what the path from first visit to final teeth looks like.
Exam and 3D CT Scan
Your first visit is an All-on-4 consultation with a 3D CT scan; see the offer above. Your dentist checks your teeth, gums, bite and bone, and talks with you about what you want from your new smile.
Your Plan and Written Price
Using the scan, your team plans where each implant goes and which teeth fit you best. You get a written treatment plan and price before you decide, including whether you need four implants or more and whether a graft is needed.
Surgery Day: Teeth in a Day
Any remaining failing teeth are removed, the implants are placed, and your temporary fixed teeth are attached the same day. Local anesthesia keeps you numb, and sedation is available if you would like to be more relaxed.
Healing
You leave with temporary fixed teeth on surgery day. Most patients get their final teeth about 3 to 6 months later, once the implants have fused with the bone. Your timeline depends on your bone, healing and whether grafting is needed. Plan on a soft diet for the first weeks while the implants settle.
Your Final Teeth
Once healing is complete, your final bridge is made and fitted to your bite, shape and shade. Then regular checkups and cleanings keep your implants and gums healthy.
Caring for Your New Teeth
Fixed teeth are cared for much like natural teeth, with a little extra attention under the bridge. Your team shows you the routine when your final teeth go in:
Comfort and Sedation
Many people put off full-arch care because they are nervous. We keep surgery day as calm as we can. Sedation is offered and quoted separately, and your team helps you choose the level that fits your surgery and your nerves.
Laughing gas takes the edge off and wears off quickly.
A prescribed pill helps you feel calm and drowsy. You will need a driver home.
Ask which deeper options your office offers for full-arch surgery.
Warm blankets, headphones and TV help the time pass.
Why Choose All-on-4 at myDental?
The biggest change our full-arch patients describe is simple: they stop thinking about their teeth. Here is what All-on-4 can change day to day.
Teeth That Stay Put
No adhesive, no slipping and nothing to take out at night. Your new teeth are fixed to the implants.
Teeth on Surgery Day
Temporary fixed teeth go in on surgery day, so you can smile and eat soft foods while you heal.
Eat and Speak with Confidence
Once healed, many patients chew much better than with a denture, and speech feels natural again.
Support for Your Jawbone
Implants work like roots, which helps keep the bone around them from shrinking the way it does under a denture.
Often No Bone Graft
Angled implants make use of the bone you have, which often means fewer procedures and a shorter path.

How Much Do All-on-4 Dental Implants Cost?
Fixed All-on-4 teeth start from $14,900 per arch. Premium zirconia teeth start from $19,900 per arch. One arch is one jaw, upper or lower. A full mouth, both jaws, is two arches.
The price per arch includes:
For your first visit, see the offer at the top of this page. Sedation is available and quoted separately. The difference between the two tiers is the material of your final teeth: zirconia is a very hard ceramic that resists chipping and staining and looks the most like natural enamel. Your dentist explains which one suits your bite.
A regular denture costs less up front, but adhesive, relines and replacement dentures add up over the years. Fixed teeth are an up-front investment in a long-term result.
What Can Change Your Price
“From” means the starting point for one arch. Your written plan shows your own price, based on these factors:
Implants per Arch
Four implants, or five to six (All-on-X) when your bone or bite needs more support.
One Arch or Both
Each jaw is priced as its own arch. Many patients do both; some start with one.
Extractions Included
Removing the teeth that need to come out is part of the arch price, not an add-on.
Bone Grafting
Not everyone needs a graft. If your scan shows one is needed, it is part of your plan.
Sedation
Quoted separately, based on the level of sedation you choose.
Teeth Material
Fixed All-on-4 teeth, or premium zirconia teeth for the most natural look.

At myDental, fixed All-on-4 teeth start from $14,900 per arch, and premium zirconia teeth start from $19,900 per arch. One arch is one jaw, so a full mouth is two arches. Your exact price depends on how many implants you need, any bone grafting and the teeth material, and you get it in writing before you decide. See what is included.
Yes, the same offer applies to current patients. Mention it when you book online or call your office, and your All-on-4 consultation includes a 3D CT scan. Your team will review your current records with you at that visit.
The price per arch includes your consultation and 3D CT scan, removal of the teeth that need to come out, the implants, your same-day temporary teeth and your final teeth. Sedation is available and quoted separately.
Yes. You leave with temporary fixed teeth on surgery day. Most patients get their final teeth about 3 to 6 months later, once the implants have fused with the bone. Your timeline depends on your bone, healing and whether grafting is needed.
Your mouth is numbed with local anesthesia, so you should not feel pain during surgery, and sedation is offered if you are nervous. Soreness and swelling are normal at first and are usually managed with the medicine your dentist recommends. A soft diet for the first weeks helps the implants settle.
All-on-4 is surgery, so it carries the usual surgical risks and a healing period with a soft diet. It costs more than dentures. Because all the teeth in the arch are one bridge, a repair affects the whole arch, and you need to clean carefully under the bridge and keep up with checkups. Not everyone has enough bone or the general health for it, which your exam and CT scan will show.
Neither is better for everyone. Both hold one fixed bridge. All-on-6, part of the wider All-on-X family, uses extra implants to spread the chewing load, which can help in the upper jaw, with a strong bite or with softer bone. All-on-4 often avoids a bone graft by angling the back implants. Your CT scan shows which one fits your jaw.
Often, yes. The angled back implants are designed to use the bone that remains, so many people who were told they lack bone for regular implants can still have All-on-4 without a graft. Some patients do need grafting, and your 3D CT scan shows which group you are in.
All-on-4 is meant to be a long-term solution. How long it lasts depends on how well you clean under the bridge, regular checkups, not smoking and protecting the teeth if you grind. Like natural teeth, the bridge can wear over time and may need repair or replacement one day, while the implants stay in the bone.
No. Snap-in dentures clip onto implants and you take them out to clean and at night. All-on-4 teeth are fixed to the implants and stay in; only your dental team removes them. People sometimes call All-on-4 “permanent dentures” or “fixed dentures” for that reason. Compare denture options.
Talk with us anyway. We offer payment plans and flexible financing, so you can spread the cost into monthly payments. Some patients start with one arch, and a snap-in implant denture is a lower-cost option that is still much steadier than a regular denture. Your written plan lays out each choice so you can compare.
