Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities:

As a key connector between patients and their care, you’ll guide patients through their treatment journey with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. Your key responsibilities include:

• Go above and beyond to deliver the myDental Experience for every patient
• Assist patients in understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis and recommended treatment
• Prepare, organize, and present treatment plans in a clear and compelling way
• Calculate, coordinate, and collect fees and financial agreements for dental treatments
• Verify dental insurance benefits and follow up persistently with insurance representatives as needed
• Maintain a full daily schedule and manage patient flow efficiently
• Handle administrative duties including patient check-in, check-out, and payment coordination
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Support clinical staff and collaborate with the broader team to ensure seamless care
• Contribute to a well-organized, welcoming office environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1+ year of dental treatment coordination experience preferred
• 1+ year of customer service or sales experience preferred
• Experience with Dentrix Practice Management software a plus
• Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — warm, clear, and professional
• Demonstrated ability to present treatment plans and guide patients toward case acceptance
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and genuine passion for patient care
