Dr. Eric Chen, DMD

Dr. Eric Chen is a general dentist and proud Austin native who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered dental care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. During dental school, Dr. Chen provided comprehensive care to underserved communities in North Philadelphia, an experience that strengthened his commitment to accessible and community-focused dentistry.

Following dental school, Dr. Chen pursued advanced clinical training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. During his residency, he gained extensive experience treating medically complex patients and further developed his skills in oral surgery and comprehensive general dentistry. His training included working in hospital settings, outpatient clinics, and special needs care environments, giving him a broad perspective on patient care.

Dr. Chen is dedicated to a patient-first philosophy built on compassion, transparency, and trust. He believes that excellent dentistry begins with listening carefully to patients’ concerns and ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment decisions. His goal is to build long-lasting relationships with patients while delivering high-quality care using modern techniques and technology.
