Dr. Tarek Abourass, DMD, FICOI

Dr. Tarek Abourass, DMD, FICOI, is a dedicated dentist committed to advanced, comprehensive care built on precision, innovation, and an exceptional patient experience. His largely referral-based practice centers on complex cases — comprehensive smile makeovers, full mouth reconstruction, advanced implant dentistry, and microscope-assisted root canal therapy — restoring both function and appearance through personalized, evidence-based treatment.

Dr. Abourass holds an Advanced Standing Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also completed further training in periodontology and implant dentistry. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), a distinction that reflects his expertise in the field and his ongoing commitment to advanced implant care.

His surgical scope is broad, including full-arch All-on-X rehabilitation, immediate implant placement, bone and soft-tissue grafting, sinus augmentation, periodontal surgery, IV sedation, and impacted wisdom tooth extractions. Outside the office, Dr. Abourass spends much of his time with his wife and their daughter, Maia. He is also an avid mixed martial artist, training in Muay Thai, boxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
