About the Role

We’re hiring a Recruiting & HR Coordinator to own how myDental finds, attracts, hires, and welcomes the people who shape our patient experience. Reporting to the HR Manager and partnering closely with Office Managers, doctors, and our Operations leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisor, CEO), you’ll run full-cycle recruiting across all our offices and serve as the operational backbone of HR.

This is a role with real ownership. You’ll own the candidate funnel end-to-end, build the pipelines we need to keep growing, shape the first 90 days of every new teammate’s experience, and bring the data that helps leadership make smarter people decisions.

What You’ll Do

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Run full-cycle recruiting across all our offices — from kickoff with the hiring manager to offer accepted.
  • Source proactively — LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, dental and hygiene school networks, and our employee referral program. Don’t wait for applicants to come to you.
  • Write job ads that actually land, and keep listings fresh across our careers page and external boards.
  • Conduct phone screens that surface skills, motivation, and CARES-values fit.
  • Coordinate interviews with candidates, Office Managers, doctors, our Operations team (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisor, CEO), and the HR Manager.
  • Build and maintain evergreen pipelines for our highest-volume roles so we’re never starting from zero.
  • Partner with the HR Manager on offer strategy, comp benchmarking, and closing candidates.
  • Represent myDental at job fairs, dental and hygiene school events, and community recruiting touchpoints across Central Texas.

Employer Brand & Candidate Experience

  • Own how myDental shows up to candidates online — careers page, Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn — and keep our story tight, current, and compelling.
  • Deliver a candidate experience that earns reviews: fast responses, clear next steps, kind rejections, and follow-through with every applicant.
  • Capture and share authentic culture content (team stories, employee spotlights, behind-the-scenes) to drive inbound interest.

Onboarding & HR Operations

  • Run new-hire onboarding end-to-end — offer letters, background checks, drug screens, license verification, I-9/E-Verify, and Day-1 readiness.
  • Enroll new hires in required training (HIPAA, OSHA, role-specific) and track completion.
  • Track license and credential expirations across the team and flag renewals before they lapse.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and clean ATS/HRIS data so reporting is always trustworthy.
  • Coordinate offboarding logistics, exit interviews, and final documentation.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on recruiting funnel metrics: time-to-fill, source-of-hire, offer-acceptance rate, 90-day retention.
  • Bring data to HR check-ins — what’s working, what’s stuck, where we should invest next.
  • Continuously sharpen our process: better intake forms, sharper screening questions, stronger interview kits.

Partnership & Project Support

  • Be the right hand to the HR Manager on initiatives across employee experience, engagement, and compliance.
  • Take on projects that flex your strengths and grow your career as the team scales.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR coordination experience preferred. Healthcare, dental, or multi-location experience is a strong plus, not a requirement.
  • A high performer — you set a high bar for yourself, hold to it, and bring that same standard to every candidate you put through our door.

  • Tech-fluent — confident with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter or Indeed Resume, Microsoft 365, and basic reporting tools.
  • Highly organized — you can run dozens of open candidates and competing priorities without losing the thread or dropping a follow-up.
  • Strong communicator — clear, warm, and confident on the phone, in writing, and in person.
  • Confidentiality and discretion — you handle sensitive employee and candidate information with the trust it deserves.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to occasionally visit our offices across Central Texas.
  • Spanish-English bilingual is a plus — we serve diverse communities across Central Texas.
