Our team at myDental sends our regards to our patients during this COVID-19 pandemic – we hope that you and your families are safe and healthy. As you know from our previous announcement, our office is currently closed due to recommendations from the CDC, ADA, and the local government.

Revised Executive Order

Dental clinics, as well as many other healthcare providers, have been asked to temporarily suspend services to ensure that supplies and resources are available as needed for healthcare workers and Coronavirus patients. Last week, our governor shared a revised executive order that requires our office to remain closed until May 9th:

“All licensed health care professionals and all licensed health care facilities shall postpone all surgeries and procedures that are not medically necessary to diagnose or correct a serious medical condition of, or to preserve the life of, a patient who without timely performance of the surgery of procedure would be at risk for serious adverse medical consequences or death, as determined by the patient’s physician.”

You can read the full order here to learn more about the services that are currently on hold.

Emergency Dental Treatments

Unfortunately, most dental care falls within the category of not being medically necessary to avoid serious adverse medical consequences or death. But, there are times when a serious infection or other dental emergency requires immediate services. Our team is here to assist and we invite you to call us any time if you have questions about emergency services.

If emergency dental treatments are required, you can rest assured knowing that we maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness to protect our patients and staff.

We’re Here to Help

Also, know that our office is available by phone if you have questions about your dental care or you would like to schedule an exam or treatment in the future. Please call us to secure your appointment time when the office is re-opened for regular services, such as cleanings, exams, cosmetic treatments, etc.
